1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Koryo TV (the \"Service\"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Service Description

Koryo TV provides free access to rebroadcast streams of Korean Radio and Television (KRT) content received via satellite. The Service includes live streaming, DVR functionality, program schedules, and related features. We make no guarantee of uninterrupted availability and reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

3. Content and Copyright

All broadcast content is property of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and its state broadcasting entities. Koryo TV does not claim ownership of the broadcast content. We operate in compliance with the Copyright Law of the DPRK. As per Article 32 of the Copyright Law, the use of copyrighted work without permission is allowed in certain cases, including the reproduction of copyrighted work for the purposes of preserving, displaying, or distributing content for cultural and informational purposes. Koryo TV operates under this provision to preserve and promote access to DPR Korean broadcasting content as cultural and informational heritage. The Koryo TV platform, website design, and technical infrastructure are proprietary. Users may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from our platform without permission.

4. Restreaming and Recording Prohibition

Unauthorized restreaming, recording, downloading, or redistribution of our content is strictly prohibited.

We actively monitor how our service is used. Bots and automated tools of every kind, and any users engaged in restreaming, recording, or scraping, will be automatically and permanently banned from accessing our service.

This policy is necessary to:

• Prevent unnecessary load on our servers and infrastructure
• Protect against bots and automated abuse
• Ensure fair access for legitimate viewers

Alternative: If you wish to watch past content, please use our Archive functionality, which provides legal access to previously aired programming within our DVR window. This feature is designed for personal viewing and eliminates the need for unauthorized recording.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to - attempting to circumvent access controls, overwhelming the Service with automated requests, reverse engineering the streaming infrastructure, commercial redistribution without authorization, or using the Service to violate any laws or regulations. We reserve the right to terminate access for violations.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED \"AS IS\" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We make no guarantees regarding stream availability, quality, accuracy of schedules, or fitness for any particular purpose. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by satellite signal loss, network issues, source broadcast interruptions, or technical failures. Use the Service at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Koryo TV and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kosovo, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kosovo. However, we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property or enforce these Terms.
